How We Use Dental Technology
At Centre Dentaire Ricard & Tran, our technology plays an important role in providing you with effective and efficient dental treatment.
We use X-rays and intraoral scans to get a clear picture of your teeth and other oral structures. Because we can display digital X-rays and scans on the monitors in our treatment rooms, we can show you any issues in your mouth and walk you through your treatment plan.
Our goal is to provide patients with dental care while making sure they are fully informed about their oral health and treatment options. Dental technology helps us accomplish this.
Digital X-Rays
Instead of traditional photographic X-rays, digital X-rays use digital sensors to capture images. Digital X-rays produce highly detailed images of your teeth, gums, and other oral structures. They allow our dentists to accurately plan your treatment by getting a better look at parts of the mouth that are not visible to the naked eye.
Panoramic X-Rays
Panoramic X-rays allow us to create a single image of your whole mouth, allowing us to see your teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and nasal and sinus structures. We use panoramic X-rays to help plan treatments like dentures, implants and extractions.
Intraoral Scanners
Due to Intraoral scanners, we no longer need to rely on messy goop to create dental impressions. Intraoral scanners create digital dental impressions using an optical scanning wand to take an image of your teeth within minutes, allowing us to create digital replicas of the hard and soft tissues of your mouth.
